Tele-mental Health Therapy
At this time, I am only offering tele-mental health services for individuals who reside in Texas, Kansas, District of Columbia (DC), and Virginia. These services are comparable to face to face services. I meet with clients via a HIPPA compliant, safe, and secure video platform. This is both a convenient way for clients to access therapy, as well as a safe way, given the current mandates concerning physical distancing (due to COVID-19). Please note: Telemental health therapy is not appropriate for all clients. Clients with active suicidality, previously diagnosed severe psychiatric conditions, young children, and those with active substance dependence may not be appropriate for a tele-mental health platform. Referrals to a different type of care will be handled on a case-by-case basis, at the discretion of the counselor's clinical opinion of whether or not tele-mental health therapy would best benefit each client.
